Uno Traveler Peru will assist you at your hotel and then drive you to the Poroy station, here you will be welcomed with live music and dancing, after this emotional reception by the train staff, you will be able to be on board this exclusive luxury train. Hiram Bingham.
On board you will receive a gift courtesy of the train, on the way to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we will appreciate the diverse flora and fauna. As well as the colorful crop fields, rivers, mountains, snow-capped mountains, fruit trees, etc. While you enjoy all the scenic beauty, you will have at your disposal the observatory room where you will enjoy an unforgettable dance and live music show. Afterwards, we will enjoy a delicious gourmet lunch. In this way we will reach “Aguas Calientes” (2,040 meters above sea level / 6,692 feet).
As soon as we arrive in Aguas Calientes we will board the bus that will take us to the Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu (2,400 m/ 7,874 feet), here you will have a tour with an approximate duration of 2 and a half hours, where we can learn about the history of Machu Picchu and the Incas. At the end of the tour, we will go to the “Hotel Belmond Sanctuary”. Lodge” where you will have the option of tasting some snacks such as tea. Then, we board the bus again that will take us back to the town of Aguas Calientes, and board our luxurious train back to the city of Cusco. On the way on board, we will enjoy a gastronomic dinner accompanied by an excellent selection of wines (not premium). At the Poroy station an agent from our agency will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel in the city of Cusco, thus finishing our luxurious tour.

What days can you travel on the Hiram Bingham Train?
The Hiram Bingham train runs every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Departure from Poroy is at 9:10 am and the return trip is at 6:07 pm, arriving back to Poroy at 9:59 pm.
Can the trip be made on the Hiram Bingham round trip?
Yes, both trips can be made on the train if you coordinate the schedules and itinerary in advance.
Where does the Hiram Bingham train to Aguas Calientes depart from?
Trains usually depart from the town of Poroy, just outside Cusco. In the rainy season (December-April), the journey begins in Urubamba (Sacred Valley).
What type of luggage is recommended to bring?
You can carry a camera, a sun protection hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent and a bottle of water in a small backpack or carry-on luggage.
What is offered for food on the Hiram Bingham train?
A welcome cocktail will be served. Then, a gourmet lunch with an open bar with three courses. These are regional and are made with ingredients brought from the Sacred Valley, which are cooked by chefs on the train itself.
