Our guides are professionals graduated in the Tourism profession and all of them are 100% local, most of them are native Quechua speakers and are fluent in English and Spanish. It will be a great pleasure for them to be your interpreter when you want to communicate with our porters or when you visit a Quechua-speaking community. On the adventure trips that you share with our guides, you will learn the history of each one of them, many of them started as Inca Trail porters.

Peruvian gastronomy, and particularly Cusco food, has been conquering the palates of locals and foreigners alike, which is why at Uno Traveler Peru we have incorporated a select staff of well-trained and well-trained cooks who, with their culinary skills, will make your expedition on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, Choquequirao, Ausangate, Salkantay, Lares and others easy to conquer.
On the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu or other adventure treks in the Andes, you and your group will be served every morning before sunrise with a cup of wake-up tea or a coffee from the Cusco jungle, then a nutritious breakfast, at midday a delicious and succulent buffet lunch and at sunset an exquisite dinner accompanied by infusions made from native plants. Their skill and dexterity serve to satisfy dietary needs or allergies. On any of these hikes, you will hear amazing stories from cooks who were previously porters, or perhaps you will be lucky enough to meet one of our guides who was a cook or porter before becoming a guide.

Our cooks have a uniform that characterizes them on each trip, and our porters and muleteers have appropriate clothing for hiking trips (caps, polo shirts, jackets, pants, shoes, etc.). They, their families and their communities also receive support from our company in various activities that they carry out and request.

They may not be as famous as the Inca Trail porters, but they are also an important part of our hiking trips to well-known but little-visited places, such as the Salkantay route or the Lost City of Choquequirao, or also to the magical mountains of Ausangate or the Lares trails and other destinations.

OUR CAMPING TEAM
Taking a hiking and adventure trip with Uno Traveler Peru and spending the night in one of our camps will be more than pleasant and unforgettable. We provide tents that are resistant to the harshest seasons, spacious and very comfortable, foam or inflatable mats according to the client’s needs, feather sleeping bags resistant to very low temperatures, waterproof canvas bags to store personal belongings and other equipment that the client requests according to their needs.

Upon arrival at the airport, when picking you up at your hotel for the start of a tour, your Guide will always introduce you to the driver who will be happy and pleased to transport you to your destination or take you on a tour with your Guide through the best tourist spots in our region.
Our drivers have the corresponding licenses that accredit them to drive tourist transport inside and outside the city, they are responsible and careful that each vehicle unit is in the best optimal conditions for carrying out any tour in the city or on a hiking adventure, their commitment to the well-being of each traveler is reflected when taking the wheel and driving within the speed limits governed by law, thus guaranteeing the well-being and safety of our clients.
