Our Professional Guide from Uno Traveler Peru will assist you very early at your hotel at 04:00 am to board our private transportation and drive you for approximately 3 hours to the start of the hike in the Phullawasi sector located at 4,626 m. (15,177.17 feet) here we will provide ourselves with some hot mates and our Guide will give us some tips and techniques so that the hike is not too difficult, our hike to the top will take us approximately 2 hours once we are at the top at 5,050 m. (16,568.24 feet) we will be able to enjoy the wonderful view of the mountains around the mountain of colors or more commonly known as the Vinicunca mountain, the other mountain that will catch our attention will be the Sacred Mountain of Apu Ausangate (6,398 m. / 20,991 feet), the highest mountain in Cusco and the fifth in all of Peru.
After enjoying the majesty of these mountains on our return journey we will visit the Red Valley which is very little visited and is also quite attractive. The return journey to the starting point will take us approximately 1 hour.
Rainbow Mountain or Vinicunca, is located in the Vilcanota Mountain Range, located in the southern region of Cusco. This is a rewarding place even for the most demanding travelers and hikers, providing unforgettable memories, magnificent panoramas, formidable glaciers, crystal-clear rivers, calm lakes. This new route is truly unique and more accessible and is a true adventure through wild and preserved natural terrain.
